Buses and trams

Bus Buses STAS provides transport throughout Saint-Etienne and the surrounding area. Tickets are on sale at Saint-Etienne’s tourist office and these allow you to use buses and trams. Take the number T1 or T3 tram from the city centre, then join line 1 to get to Firminy easily to see Le Corbusier’s works.

The tram By tramway Use the tram to take you through the city; an ecological and economical way to travel. Three lines cross it from north to south and east to west. Line T1 takes you from the Hôpital Nord at Solaure via the city centre and T2 takes you from Châteaucreux railway station to La Terrasse via the city centre.
